AN INSPIRING JOURNEY (युवाचार्यप्रवर की अभिवंदना)
An Inspiring Journey. Every great journey begins with a small step, be it from play school to a great scientist, from soldier to army general, or from a local leader to Prime Minister of a country, or from an ordinary monk to Acharya of the congregation. Here is an inspiring journey of the newly appointed Yuvacharya of Terapanth Dharmasangh: YUVACHARYA MAHAVIR.
The journey of Yuvacharya Mahavir is rooted in complete dedication towards Guru duo – Acharya Mahapragya and Acharya Mahashraman. His story is not about a monk who chased success, but a story of a pious soul who chose discipline over comfort, service over recognition, and humility over pride.
People admire this as a 'Zero to Hero' journey because Mahavir was born in a small hut in a remote village of Phalsund near Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, and now as an upcoming leader of the great Terapanth congregation.
But in spirituality, the journey is much deeper. This journey is:
–from ego to surrender,
–from learning to leading,
–from serving to inspiring generations,
–from silence to motivating, and
–from aham to arham.
The title of 'Yuvacharya' is not a crown to wear — it is a torch to carry and spread the light of Bhagwan Mahavir's and Acharya Bhikshu's teachings to the world. This is not a reward for past deeds, but a great responsibility for the upliftment of the Dharmasangh.
The title reflects the Guru's trust, years of dedication, and a lifelong commitment to guide the sangh with wisdom, compassion, integrity, and simplicity.
The famous proverb goes: 'Rome was not built in a day.' Similarly, the life of Yuvacharya Pravar reminds us that greatness is never built overnight. It is built through thousands of silent moments — every prayer, every work, every word offered with devotion, dedication, and strong determination.
He embraced every challenge of every responsibility, whether as 'Shrestha Shant Aaradhak', 'Mukhya Muni', 'Bahushrut Parishad Sanyojak', principal of Mahavir Pathshala, or now 'Yuvacharya', with patience, positivity, humility, and performing every duty without expecting applause.
In a world where many seek attention, he chose transformation. He doesn't speak to impress people, but in fact, he lives to inspire youth — we can say Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha — with total faith in Dev, Guru, and Dharma.
His journey leaves every young heart to discover their own strength with a timeless message:
1. Stay humble (विनम्रता)
2. Keep Serving (सेवा)
3. Dedication towards Guru (समर्पण)
And one day, your work will speak louder than your words.
It is well said that true heroes are not created by mere titles. They are shaped by values, hard work, devotion, dedication, strong determination, and above all, the most important: Guru Kripa. In the case of Yuvacharya Mahavir, His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman bestowed blessings on Muni Mahavir and now, he is an extraordinary legacy of Terapanth Dharmasangh and Jinshasan.
Lastly, I would wish for Yuvacharya Pravar to always shine like the rising sun with new light, new energy, new enthusiasm, and creative thoughts without any vacation, without any expectation, and without any discrimination. At the same time, let the brightness of this rising sun bestowed upon us be for centuries, and may the youth of today not just witness this new encouraging and inspiring chapter, but become a part of it.
