Don't think of her as gone away
The mountains went silent
The ocean came to standstill...
The birds' chirping came to halt
The clouds forgot their drill...
We too bow to that divine light
Who removed our nigritude...
Lets revere the holy soul
And show our humble gratitude...
There is no night without dawning
No winter without a spring
And beyond the dark horizon
Her soul just went floating...
That twinkling eye, whose sunny beam
My memory would not cherish less;
And oh, that smile! whose joyous gleam
Nor mortal language can express...
How can I bid farewell to her
To all my fondest thoughts that can be,
Within my heart they still shall dwell;
And they shall cheer and comfort me...
For those who leave us a while
Have only gone away
Out of a restless, care worn world
Into a brighter day...
Don't think of her as gone away,
her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facts,
this earth is only one...
Just think of her as resting
from all the pains and tears
In a place of warmth where
there are no days or years...
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
How nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away...
And think of her as living in
the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much...
